Stars Football Academy prides itself on providing students with the opportunity to improve their English and gain an internationally recognised English qualification, as well as study a variety of other subjects such as BTEC in Sports, Maths GCSE, English GCSE and many more.

The programme is designed to help students achieve their desired educational path and, if wished, gain admission to university or a career in the sports industry.

Wentworth International offers courses in General English and, upon request, Business English with Employability Skills during the academic year. Each course requires a weekly time commitment, which the boys will keep to.
The lengths of each course vary as students advance through the levels. Summer School is open during the holidays, and a customised English language programme is available.

When students arrive at our campus in St Leonards-on-Sea, they are evaluated in terms of their written, spoken, listening, and comprehension skills and assigned to a class (Elementary to Advanced). Each class follows a study plan that combines grammar-based theory with functional language use to ensure that students understand the correct construction and everyday use of English in a variety of contexts. Students in this programme are guided through a comprehensive network of speaking, writing, comprehension, and listening assignments in order to best prepare them for the IELTS and Cambridge English exams, which are both internationally recognised by universities, employers, and governments.

Our structured course material is tailored to each class and derived from coursebooks, CD-ROMs, and sources supplied by the instructor. Our experienced teachers are innovative and adaptable, having worked in the industry in the UK and throughout Europe. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 12 students per class, and students are actively encouraged to strive for the next level.

The Stars Football Academy seeks to develop intelligent football players with technical and tactical excellence, emotional resilience, and excellent decision-making abilities on and off the field.

Our EUFA PRO coaches follow the FA’s ‘Future Game’ philosophy of ‘Long Term Player Development,’ emphasising the technical, tactical, physiological, physical, and social aspects of a player’s development.

Our one-on-one training sessions are part of the Plan, Do, Review process, which allows players to establish an evidence-based evaluation of their abilities. This aids in realising the opportunities available to them, whether as a professional footballer or in other fields.

Our aim is to give our students the tool set and skills they need to achieve their goals within football and beyond.
